Why rich financial people dont marry :P

A friend of mine posted this on my facebook wall and I just had to post it on my blog. The CEO of J.P. Morgan reply to a Pretty Girl. I love the last part of the reply. HAHAHA :D

A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:

Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?

I'm going to be honest of what I'm going to say here. I'm 25 this year. I'm very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I'm greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York. My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married?

I wanted to ask:

what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I've dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York CityGarden(?), $250k annual income is not enough.

I'm here humbly to ask a few questions:

  1. Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
  2. Which age group should I target?
  3. Why most wives of the riches is only average-looking? I've met a few girls who doesn't have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys.
  4. How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your girlfriend? My target now is to get married)

Ms. Pretty

Awesome reply:

Dear Ms. Pretty,

I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours.

Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I'm not wasting time here.

From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside, what you're trying to do is an exchange of "beauty" and "money": Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square.

However, there's a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can't be prettier year after year. Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It's not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worried 10 years later. By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a "trading position". If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or "leased".

Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps. If you are interested in "leasing" services, do contact me...

Paramore! MORE MORE MORE!

I used to search on youtube for live videos of their performance and was very amazed, but now that I've been to their concert and seen them perform live, I can say that it was a gaziliion times better than on youtube! Its the best concert that I've been to! I cant begin to describe the intensity that I felt during the concert when I saw the whole band headbanging, jumping around, hayley doing this wacky dance while singing, and of course more headbanging. IT WAS JUST TOO AWESOME. The most awesome part is that they played 18 songs! The songs that they played were:
  1. Ignorance
  2. Feeling Sorry
  3. That's What You Get
  4. For A Pessimist, I'm Very Optimistic
  5. Emergency
  6. Playing God
  7. Careful
  8. Decode
  9. Never Let This Go (Acoustic)
  10. When It Rains (Acoustic)
  11. Where The Lines Overlap (Acoustic)
  12. Misguided Ghosts (Acoustic)
  13. Crushcrushcrush
  14. Pressure
  15. Looking up
  16. The Only Exception
  17. Brick by Boring Brick (Encore)
  18. Misery Business (Encore)
The concert started as a black curtain covered the stage. Then there was this intense intro where we can only see the shadows of the band members. As the curtain dropped, the crowd was screaming like there was no tomorrow. They started the concert with Ignorance.
I think the crowd was the loudest during Thats What You Get, even Ili said so. Yes, they had an acoustic session rite in the middle of the concert. It started with just Hayley and Josh (guitarist) playing Never Let This Go. During this song, Hayley's voice was clear and beautiful. Then they brought up a white couch on stage and the whole band played 2 other songs on acoustic. After that, it was full on rock with Crushcrushcrush as Hayley asked everyone to get on their feet and dance. I think the most awesome part happened during Pressure. They slowed the song down in the middle and Hayley asked the crowd,

" How many of you have been to a Paramore show? "

*some screams can be heard*

"Well, welcome back. But what we really wana know is, how many of you HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A PARAMORE SHOW? "

*whole crowd screams*

"Well, welcome to the family! Now that you're here, you have been sucked in, and we are never letting you go. You guys waited 6 years to see Paramore and we pro
mise that you guys won't have to wait another 6 years for us to return. By the look of things, we should have been here sooner!"

Hayley then introduced the band members one by one. After that they continued playing Pressure and did this awesome stunt where Jeremy (bassist) side-flipped over Josh and Hayley was right infront of them (as you can see the picture at the top of my blog :P). During The Only Exception Hayley asked the crowd to put up their handphones and lighters.

They said goodbye but of course the crowd screamed for an encore. They came back and played Brick by Boring Brick. And at the end of the song, the whole crowd was singing along to PARA PA PARA PA PARA PARA PA PA PARA PA PA PARA PA PARA PA PARA PARA PA PA PARA PA PA!! After that they played MISERY BUSINESS! and some lucky dude got to go on stage and sing a part of the song and even got to take a pic with Hayley (T.T) What the heck, but it was still the best concert that I've been to and those who didn't go missed a hell of a concert. Well, its not a concert, its a full on head-banging, jumping, screaming rock show :P Plus I got a sore neck the next day and I just head-banged a little.
Dear Hayley, how do you do it again and again and again? :D

Selamat Hari Raya :D

Ya2, I know Im late but who cares. Raya is suppose to be a month XD
Selamat Hari Raya people, Maaf zahir dan batin :D

How was my raya? Well, in the morning I had to wake up early to bring my grandpa to the mosque for raya prayers. I had to be there super early cause its easier to find parking so that my grandpa wont need to walk so far. Then, after prayers I went back into my car, put in the key, switched it on but the car wont start and suddenly the alarm went off. I panicked. HAHA. I tried it again and same thing happened. Imagine the embarrassment, as I parked rite infront of the masjid, with all the loads of people around (>.<) Turns out the battery is dead. My grandpa didnt know what was going on so he said " On aircond, on aircond ". hahaha. I was laughing that time. So my mom had to pick us up from the masjid. Once I got home, I had to go out again with my dad to take out the car battery. Well, I took out the car battery. Then we went to this battery shop my dad knew, luckily it was open. Thank god. Went back to the car, plugged in the new battery and yesss it runs again. Then I went off to my grandparents place. So thats my first day of raya experience, I now know how to change a car battery. haha :D

Quick shout out to emy since today is her bday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMY ;D
yes, emy semakin tua. :P
